Proper drainage and erosion control are essential for many property locations in the Fairbanks area.

This steep embankment was prepared with peaty topsoil, then hyrdoseeded with an erosion control grass that was applied with wood fiber mulch and a guar gum tackifier in the month of October.

This picture shows a healthy stand of grass one year later. No watering or nurturing was done by the home owner. Maintaining this bank was especially important to protect the beautiful structure that was built behind it.
